Abstract

|
The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the problems of current Family Allowance of Korea and draw the cosequent solutions based on the problems. Mothods applied in this investigation focus on analysis and reciprocal comparison in both aspects of legislation and in stitution, with the Family Allowance of the United kingdon, the U. S. A., Germamany and Japan, etc. Problems derived from this investigation can be outlined as follows: A. Lack of Special laws on Family Allowance. B. Limited scope of beneficiaries in Family Allowance. C. Low amount of Family Allowance. To improve the situations stated above, some reform measures can be suggested as follows : A. Establishment of special laws on Family Allowance B. Enlargement of beneficiaries and selective of the Family Allowance. C. Raising the level of the Family Allowance. To carry out the reform measures effectively, financily support from the Government should be preceded.
